Your board is yours. Every connection to EchoBBS.com is encrypted in transit, and all data is stored encrypted on managed cloud infrastructure with automated backups. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are salted and hashed, and checked against known breach lists at signup.
- > Each board is isolated at the database level — callers, logs, and private data of one board are unreachable from another.
- > Private messages between callers cannot be read by sysops or other callers.
- > We don't sell, broker, or advertise against your data. It is used only to run your board, and notification emails can be muted per board at any time.
